Daniel has worked in Financial Services since joining Fletcher Davies IFA in June 2006 after attaining a 2:1 Honours Degree in Business Law.
He joined atomos in December 2010 and has further developed his career achieving Chartered Financial Planner status which is not only a symbol of technical competence, but demonstrates he is at the forefront of the profession and serves as a mark of trust with clients, employers and business owners.
Daniel provides holistic, goal based financial planning for his clients. In summary, this process involves meeting clients to establish their current personal and financial circumstances, but more importantly, to establish what it is they want in life, for themselves and their family. He then puts in place a Financial Plan to achieve these goals factoring in tax and appetite for risk.
Daniel uses Cashflow modelling software bringing a client’s finances to life. Demonstrating visually what their financial future looks like now, how the Financial Plan will put them on a path to achieve their goals and considering the “what ifs” along the way.
“The most common goal is retirement, typically everyone wants to stop working one day. But people also want to save to put their children through university, help them get on the property ladder, ensure they leave behind a financial legacy. It is hugely fulfilling to put in place a Financial Plan to help someone achieve their goals and is the reason I do this job.”
